What makes the BS in Communication degree program at UArts special?
A BS in Communication at the University of the Arts is for students who are interested in a career in video production, both narrative and documentary, as well as screen and TV writing.  It’s for students who want to both write and direct their video projects. It also introduces you to the theory that will help you understand what works, why and how.

What areas of Communication can I focus on?
Communication majors select two areas of study while earning their degree:

How will I be prepared for a career in Media Communications?
The Communication degree program mixes courses that are both applied and critical. The senior year is spent writing, directing and producing, along with postproduction of an original video production, either narrative or documentary. It provides graduating students with a showcase of their work for future jobs in video production and screen and TV writing-related fields.
