Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Crafts
Many discover a passion for crafts later in life and are faced with a dilemma — how do I gain the skills and knowledge I need to enter the profession?
Our 30-credit certificate program offers a practical option — a high-quality and intensely focused education in crafts for those interested in changing careers and embarking on a career in the arts. Students with bachelor’s degrees can become proficient in ceramics, fibers, glass, jewelry, metalsmithing or wood, developing the portfolio needed for acceptance into a top graduate program or to begin your career as an independent studio artist.
What makes us different: flexible schedules and full studio access
The Crafts Studio Program offers the studio component of the University's undergraduate Crafts program in a one-and-one-half or two-year period. Most courses are offered during the day, so students must be available two or three weekdays per semester. Crafts Studio Program students have full studio access seven days a week.
