Katherine Hulka ('06) is working on the animation team at ANImagic in NYC on a new 40-episode series for PBS Kids.
Nick Agneta ('05) works at Fabian-Baker Inc. in Pennsylvania, a company that makes videos and animations for educational purposes.
Dawn Scribner ('05) has been working with Bob Camp(director/storyboard artist for Warner Brothers, Blue Sky Studios and Cartoon Network) teaching Cartooning/ Animation classes to kids, and working on a TV series for Fox.
Stephanie Yuhas ('05) recently pitched an original concept to television producers at the Ottawa International animation festival. She was one of only two whose concepts and package were selected from hundreds of applicants. She is currently one of the founders and directors of Project Twenty1, a festival where participants create a short film in 21 days.
Tim Litostansky ('03) works at ArkMediaInc, a media company focusing primarily on medical tradeshow installations. They create media content using high end 3D software down to basic graphics production.
Ben Ceccarelli ('03) is an animation director at 23D Films in Los Angeles. He has directed animation for a series with John Lithgow called "Paloozaville," and is now supervising director on an animated series, "The Wood," on STARZ network.
Jon Bliss ('03) worked at Moo Studios on the recent Guinness animated cutout tv spots and is currently at 23rd Films in California.
Mike Mayfield ('03) was awarded the 2003 animation internship from the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences. He was placed with Film Roman ("Simpsons") and then hired to work on "King of the Hill."
Sean McBride ('02) and Carrie Kost ('00) work at Curious Pictures in NYC, on Drew Carey's Green Screen shows. McBride won the Student Academy Award in 2001 for his Junior film, "That Special Monkey."
Tim Pixton ('00) works as a digital animator at Unbound Studios, a diverse media producer with offices in New York, London, and Los Angeles. Tim is at the Los Angeles office.
Mehdi Yssef ('00) and Jusef Santoso ('99) work as animator and artist, respectively, for Kronos Digital in Los Angeles, a gaming company.
DaShawn Hall ('99) went on to get a graduate art education degree and has taught at the Art Institute of Philadelphia, Delaware College of Art and Design, and UArts. He also presented work at Siggraph 2001 in Los Angeles.
Matt Grodsky ('99) worked as an animator for "Little Bill" a Nickelodeon show based out of New York.
Danielle Keenan ('99) works as an assistant animator for "Blues Clues" a Nickelodeon show based out of New York.
Norm Auble ('98) , Matt Faughnam ('97), Josh Taback ('94) , and Jon Gebhart ('94) are working at Film Roman in Los Angeles on the Simpsons. Prior to being hired full-time, all worked for Film Roman as interns through a program sponsored by the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences.
Musa Brooker, Sue Twining and Rob Shaw ('97) all worked on "Phantom Investigators" a Wholesome Products Production for WB Television. Before that all three are all worked for the Will Vinton Studio in Portland. Musa and Sue previously worked for MTV Animation on Celebrity Deathmatch, before heading out west. Sue Twining received a Student Academy Award 3rd prize for her film "Put On a Happy Face."
Stephen Weredyk and Brian Fetsko ('97) worked for Rolling Stone Magazine doing multimedia work for presentations and in-house parties.
Karin Frye and Douglas Hudson ('97) received their MFA's from the California Institute of the Arts. Karin was also an animator for the Action League Now segments on Nickelodeon's Kablam program.
Jeff Koone ('97) had his senior film shown in the Ottawa Student International Festival (film title: "Phi-Brite") and has received a grant and completed another personal film since.
Adam Burton ('96) was awarded the 1996 animation internship from the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences. He was placed with Film Roman (who animate "The Simpsons" and "The Critic.") He went on to work as a Character Designer on "Felix the Cat" and the "Blues Brothers." Then, he worked for Hanna Barbera as a Character Designer on the series "Cow and Chicken." His film, "Biff Whitman vs the Space Vixens From Space" is being distributed by Manga Entertainment. Currently he has his own show "Grim and Evil" on the Cartoon Network.
Dana Gullo ('96) is an Animation Instructor at the Art Institute of Philadelphia and also works freelance on CD ROM's. Dana is a graduate student in the Art Education program at The University of the Arts.
Ciro Nieli ('96) won several awards for his film, "Last Exit". His film was shown at the Sinking Creek Film Festival, the Chicago Underground Film Festival and the Central Florida Film Festival. This film was awarded a PIFVA Completion Grant and has been screened on WHYY's "Independent Images" series. Ciro formed his own company, Nebulus Films.
Benjamin Ridgway ('96) graduated from the California Institute of the Arts as a MFA student in Experimental Animation. His junior film, "Olive Shower", toured with the Medicine Wheel Animation Festival. It also won a Director's Choice Award at the Black Maria Film Festival. His senior film, "Xenomycology", is toured with the UFVA International Student Film Festival. The film was screened at the Central Florida Film Festival and is being distributed by Manga Entertainment.
Michael Enright ('95) was a regional finalist in the Student Academy Awards for his senior film, "Moo!". The film was aired on Channel 35's "Through the Lens" series, and is being distributed by Manga Entertainment. Michael also completed the MFA animation degree at the California Institute of the Arts. He currently teaches animation at UArts.
Craig Chernov ('95) is teaching animation to children at the Worcester Art Museum in Worcester, MA.
Matt Gierula ('95) is a computer animator for America's TV Job Network in New Jersey.
Chris Hubbard ('95) was awarded the 1995 animation internship from the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences. He was placed at Film Roman (who animated "The Simpsons" and "The Critic"). He later worked as an animator at Turner Feature Animation, and is now working at Disney Feature Animation as an assistant animator under Glen Keane.
Joe Lampone ('95) worked as a computer animator at Kronos Digital Entertainment in LA and on the "Spiderman" animated TV series. He is currently teaching at the Art Institute of Philadelphia.
Heng May ('95) is a promo editor at Channel 35 in Philadelphia.
Andrew Medina ('95) works as a computer animator for Atari Video in San Fran. He designs video games.
Kate McCabe ('95) has had her animation, "Tack", screened at the Philadelphia Festival of World Cinema, First Glance II Philadelphia Underground Film Festival, the Chicago Underground Film Festival, and it won an Honorary Mention at the Black Maria Film Festival. It was also screened on WHYY Channel 12's "Independent Images" series.
Linda Nettleship ('95) has worked as a background painter for Walt Disney Television Animation in Los Angeles, and then Klasky Csupo in Los Angeles. Recently she moved back to the East Coast to do work for MTV.
Andrew Jeffrey Wright ('93) is part of an art group called the Manipulators. He is active in the underground art scene in Philadelphia. He also helps run Space 1026 gallery in Philadelphia.
David Bullock ('93) is working for Marvel Productions on LA.
Guy Donovan ('93) is working at Warner Feature Animation. Guy Donovan was the 1993 winner of the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences Animation Internship.
Brian Dowrick ('93) won several awards for his senior animated film, "Foodchain." He received a silver award at the Student Academy Awards, 1st Prize at the College Film Awards, 2nd Prize at the UFVA Film Festival, and previously 1st prize at the College Television Awards sponsored by the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences. Brian is currently working as a Technical Director for Rhythm & Hues, a major television and motion picture special effects/animation studio in Los Angeles. The studio's work has included effects for the Coca-Cola polar bear ads and for Batman and Ace Ventura films.
Shawn Esposito ('93) is working as a freelance computer animator in Los Angeles. His recent work includes compositing on MTLS, a music video for Prince, effects for the feature films Virtuosity and Precious Find, and a computer-generated spaceship for the Hanna Barbera short, Chicken From Outer Space.
Nick Stadler ('93) is a computer animator at Epic Mega Games in Rockport, MD.
Eric Elder ('92) is teaching animation at The Art Institute in Philadelphia. He recently worked on MTV's Beavis and Butthead feature animation.
Lynn Tomlinson ('92) created five clay-on-glass animated interstitial spots for Children's PBS Programming. The spots were produced for the Independent Television Service (ITVS) with funds provided by the Corporation for Public Broadcasting. Lynn recently animated two spots for Sesame Street featuring the letter "P" and Imagination Through Reading. Her previous freelance work includes spots for WHYY Channel 12 and MTV. Working in her recently established Summer Kitchen Studio on a farm in Western Chester County, she is beginning a personal film exploring the rural setting, funded by Pittsburgh Filmmakers. She also teaches animation full-time at The University of the Arts.
John Serpentelli ('91) is owner and Creative Director of Art & Animation Station, a production studio and fine-art animation school for children. Before opening this school, he taught Intro Art Classes at Cedarbrook Middle School for several years. He has produced several animated films with children, which have won numerous awards. He produced two spots for Sesame Street and a public service spot for UNICEF. John also teaches part-time in the Media Arts Department at The University of the Arts. He is currently on assignment for Nickelodeon.
Sam Bullock ('91) has been working in the animation industry in LA. His credits include animation for the Hanna Barbera feature film, "The Pagemaster", commercials for Warner Brothers and Duck Soup, as well as CD ROM's for Chuck Jones Productions. He is currently teaching at the Art Institute of Philadelphia.
Dave Deneen ('86) created props for the feature film "Dogma" and has done free-lance animation work creating NFL promos that have run on network television.
Robert Lurye ('82), also works for Rhythm & Hues. He created the famed "Dancing Baby" of "Ally McBeal" fame.
Dennis Morello ('81) is a director at Curious Pictures in San Francisco. Previously he was a director at Colossal Pictures, also in San Francisco.
Gary Schwartz ('79) is working as part-time animation faculty at the California Institute of the Arts and the University of Southern California. His freelance work includes animation for Children's Television Workshop and several title sequences for television shows. He also traveled to Korea to set up an animation school there.
The Quay Brothers ('69) - These graduates moved to London where they have continued to create a unique and dark body of work while receiving international acclaim.
