You’ll prepare your industrial design portfolio, gather information about working as a professional industrial designer, and develop the entrepreneurial skills needed to excel in a competitive and complex business environment. An optional internship class is available.
What careers are available to UArts Industrial Design majors?
Alumni have gone on to work at both small and large design firms and consultancies ranging in focus from product design, exhibition design to research and strategy. A solid design process can be used in many places, and our graduates are prepared to integrate themselves into many realms. Companies like IDEO, Kohler, Walt Disney and Karam Rashid have hired UArts Industrial Design graduates. Others start their own design firms.
