• Coursework in the history, theory, and practice of art education
• Student teaching practicum
• Advanced studio experience
• Liberal arts study
• No thesis required
How long does the program take to complete?
The program may be completed in three full semesters or two semesters and two summers.
How can I get my teaching certification as well?
The program normally leads to teacher certification upon receiving the degree. You must also pass the National Teachers Exam, PRAXIS Series.
What are the program’s requirements?
• B.F.A. or B.A. in studio art with a minimum of 40 studio credits
• B or better cumulative average
