MA in Art Education, Educational Media Concentration

Who is the program designed for?
The Concentration in Electronic Media, as part of a Master of Arts in Art Education at The University of the Arts,  prepares pre-service and veteran art teachers to use, plan and manage technology in the K-12 art curriculum and classroom. 

What is the program comprised of?
Coordinating professional art education courses with work in educational media, graduate research and technology-based electives, the 36-credit program includes:
• Graduate education seminars
• Independent thesis or graduate project
• No student teaching required

What courses does this program offer that the regular MA in Art Education doesn’t?
• Educational Media A: Teaching and Learning Online
• Educational Media B: Planning and Managements Online
• Interactive Media
• Technology-based electives

How long does the program take to complete?
• Full-time: Three semesters
• Part-time:  Up to five years
