MAPPING YOUR COURSE: A Syllabus Workshop

New and veteran faculty, teaching assistants and graduate students with an interest in teaching on a college level came to the October 2007 workshop to share ideas for creating effective syllabi and to discuss ways to access campus resources. FACULTY DEVELOPMENT OPPORTUNITIES

Instructional Technology Grant

The Provost, in consultation with the Center For Teaching and Learning, has identified the need to provide incentives that recognize the value and importance of time, outside regular UArts activities, for faculty to consider how such technologies can best serve teaching and learning at UArts. A limited number of Instructional Technology Grants will be provided to faculty who propose creating new modules, digital tutorials and similar tools that will help to facilitate our goals of improving modes of instruction and course delivery. There is no application deadline and grants will be made on a rolling basis until funds are exhausted. Applications will be adjudicated by members of the CTL Committee.
